Terms of Use

By using converte.top you accept these conditions. They are written to be understood without being a lawyer.

The service

Converte provides free file conversion tools that run in your browser. There is nothing to register for and nothing to pay.

We reserve the right to add, change or withdraw tools without prior notice.

Permitted use

You may use Converte for personal and commercial purposes, with no limit on files or frequency.

Not permitted: attempting to overload or damage the service, scraping its content automatically at scale, or using it to process illegal material.

Your files and your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the files you convert and for having the right to do so. Because processing happens on your device and we never receive the files, we cannot supervise or moderate their content.

Always keep a copy of the original. A conversion may not turn out as expected, and in that case the original is your only safety net.

No warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will always be up, that it will handle every file, or that the result will suit a particular purpose.

Some conversions are explicitly marked as partial: in those cases we state on the page itself what is lost and why.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the owner is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from use of the service, including data loss.

This limitation does not affect rights granted to you mandatorily by consumer legislation.

Advertising

The site displays third-party ads. We neither control nor endorse the products advertised. Any relationship you enter into with an advertiser is outside Converte.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. If you reside in the European Union, you retain the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
