Frequently asked questions
What is a XLS file?
Excel's old pre-2007 format. It still shows up in legacy files and is worth converting to XLSX.
How do I open a XLS file?
You can open it right here to convert it into something more convenient. If your computer does not recognise it, the practical move is to convert it to a universal format such as PDF.
What is the maximum XLS size here?
50 MB. That is the cap we work with for this format so conversion stays fast and reliable.
Are my XLS files uploaded to a server?
No. We never receive them, so there is nothing to store and nothing to delete.
