How to combine several photos into a single PDF

Someone asks for both sides of your ID, or three invoices, or a signed contract. Sending five loose photos looks careless and they get lost. An ordered PDF does not.

The quick method: each image to PDF, then merge

Convert each photo to PDF with the JPG to PDF tool. You can drop them all at once and they convert as a batch.

Open the Merge PDF tool and drag in all the PDFs you just produced.

Order them with the arrows on each file. The list order is the order of the final document.

Press Merge PDF and download the complete document.

Tips so it reads well

  • Shoot with even light. A shadow across the text ruins a document more than low resolution does.
  • Frame it square and head-on. A document photographed at an angle is awkward to read and some offices reject it.
  • Name the files in order (01-front, 02-back). That way they reach the converter already sorted.
  • Compress first if they are heavy. Many mail servers reject attachments over 10 MB, and phone photos run 3 to 8 MB each.

Why a PDF and not a ZIP of photos

A PDF fixes the order, looks the same on any device, prints in one go, and whoever receives it does not have to unzip anything. For paperwork it is practically the only format accepted.
